Daikon is tender and crisp with sharp, green flavors and a grassy, lingering peppery heat.
Quite distinct in flavor from the full-grown plant, micro broccoli has a spicy flavor that will pack a punch in salads and omelettes.
Micro Red Amaranth greens are crisp, tender, and have a mild and sweet, earthy flavor reminiscent of mustard but with much less spice and a delicate grassy finish.
The wispy leaves of this delicate cress are no indication of its powerful flavor. This stuff packs a punch! It's strong and pungent, Dijon mustard flavor hit you right off that bat.
They are flat and toothed like an oak leaf with an overall dark green color and deep red veins. Red Russian kale offers a mild nutty flavor that is slightly sweet and earthy with a hearty texture.
The leaves and stems of young plants are crisp and succulent and high in water content, and the flavour is a bit spicy, similar to the closely related mustard greens. This makes for a surprisingly lively salad green.
